Last weekend, @cozy.miki Mr.Miki, a resident of Ishikawa Prefecture, came to try out the new strap for my piccolo cello (violoncello da spalla, shoulder cello).
Mr. Miki is a well-known and enthusiastic enthusiast among those who play the shoulder cello in Japan, and I have received much inspiration and insight from the pictorial materials he has collected.
Through Mr. Miki’s trial playing, I realized that there are still several variations to consider when recreating the old description of a cello being “hooked onto a frock coat button.”
I cannot introduce everyone who has tried out the straps this month, but I am truly grateful for the feedback I have received from each of them.
I am currently swamped with repair requests before the rainy season, but once things settle down, I plan to try adding a second end button to existing models other than Hoffmann.
Mr. Miki, I would like to express my gratitude once again for your passion and for traveling all the way to see me. I look forward to continuing our exchange in the future!

先週末は石川県在住の　@cozy.miki 三木恒路さんがピッコロ・チェロ(ヴィオロンチェロ・ダ・スパッラ、肩掛けチェロ)の新しいストラップを試しにお越しくださいました。
三木さんは国内の肩掛けチェロを弾く人の間ではよく知られた大変熱心な愛好家で、私も三木さんの収集されてきた絵画資料からたくさんの刺激と示唆をこれまでにもいただいてきました。
三木さんの試奏を通し、「フロックコートのボタンに引っ掛けた」とされる昔のチェロの記述を再現するにあたり、まだいくつかのバリエーションが考えられることにも気付かされました。
今月、入れ替わり立ち替わり試奏をしてくださった皆さんを全員は紹介できないのですが、それぞれにいただいたフィードバックには本当に感謝しております。

梅雨前の駆け込みで修理依頼に追われておりますが、一段落つき次第、Hoffmann以外の既存のモデルにも第二のエンドボタンをつけられるか試してみる予定です。三木さん、遠路はるばるお越しくださったご情熱に改めて感謝いたします。
